Here is this week's episode of Naruto Shippuuden HD. First thing you'll notice about this release is that it's mp4, we chose this container as we chose to go with H,264 as the codec for the HD releases, but allowed us to have it run on Xbox360 and PS3 as well with little to no fuss for the end user. Of course it will also run and look great on a PC so you have that reason as well. This release is 720p.

umm hii listen how comes the Video Codec is 960 or something now and before it was DIVX 2.1 how comes the HD does not look as good as before and do you guys just get random HD version of 720p o do you guys actually get it from the TV? oh ca you guys PLEASE stick to DIVX 2.1 i dont no alot about CODEC but that is better quality. NOTE: I AM VERY SORRY TO BUG YOU GUYS BUT PLEASE PLEASE THANK YOU, but guys still rock lol
we choose h264 because for the file size the quality is great, Divx will be used in the SD file as it's for low-end PC's and old XBOXes with XBMC on them
i begg of you guys to do it like you did episode 91 and 92 that was great oh please return to the normal HD episode 91 and 92 ohh please becuase its not so pixled and plus the subs r so gigantic :S

Hi guys, thanks so much for subbing Naruto. Please stick to whatever codec you were using last week. This codec goes way to slow and it glitches and has a lot of problems. Not only that, but the picture quality last week was way better than this week. Maybe you could release in both codecs.
You make good videos and you are developing well but the end of the video is missing, the extra part with Jiraiya Gamakiri And little Naruto. If you sub this too it will be perfect.

Awesome work. But usaly after ending titles in the end there was some short mini film, like intrview, game, academy time etc... Where is it? Will it be in future releases?

To the guy asking about how we view ourselves as different from horrible subs?
Horrible subs just packages the subtitle file with the video. Which works fine on a pc (assuming you have the right video player and know what you are doing)
Our goal is to release the episodes in formats that are compatible with pretty much any form of HD video playback - whether it's XBOX, PS3, divx-player, or your PC.
Now that's just the video...our subtitles and timing are superior now and will continue to get better. HorribleSubs are great if you absolutely have to watch naruto ASAP each week. You'll have awkward english translation (thank you crunchyroll), possible poor timing, no extra effects, etc.
If you wait a few extra hours, I promise it will be worth it.

I don't like the mp4 package. Why not keep it with the AVI. AVI is more compatible with more systems then mp4 except mp4 will play on Ipod.

Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful that your doing this.
To those that complained about the quality of this release compared to last week's - the greatest common denominator here is the quality of the raw we used. This week's raw was inferior, the codec that we chose (H264) is higher quality than a divx5 encode of the same raw file.
So, expect a better raw next week.

I agree a smaller font would work better so it doesn't take up half the screen.
I mean a smaller sized font, the font you used is much, much easier to read.

I aggree that the font is too big.
I'm cool with the different coloring depending on who talked but current colors are too aggressive and bright. I think my eyes would appreciate if they were a little toned down (a bit whiter)

i love that the file size got smaller for the hd version! there was skipping frames i think... Arial font or the font size was too big, takes too much space on the screen. waiting for the next release. thanks
